This great concept, already published by Trendland and ECOFFEE, shows how budget is not that important when creating a new brand, being creativity the main ingredient.
Located in the heart of London the London People’s Supermarket cooperative non-profit is unique. Managed and owned by the members, the shop operates on a membership system, it offers local and seasonal products for the lowest prices possible.
Design agency Unreal was responsible for developing the People’s Supermarket branding. This cooperative non -profit is one of a kind: managed and owned by the members, the shop operates on a membership system, it offers local and seasonal products for the lowest prices possible – this is not a new concept.
What I think is really innovative for a cooperative is despite the limited budget is the whole brand identity, which perfectly reflects the co-op’s core values of being communal, affordable and democratic without appearing too virtuous or elitist. A full identity program was required including logo, stationery suite, advertising, packaging and brand guidelines.
