Book carving | Kylie Stillman and Long Bin-Chen

Frankly speaking, I did not know there was a form of art called book carving. I had already published another post about another book-art artist, Isaac Salazar, a while ago, but these creations are slightly different.

Kylie Stillmann, a Melbourn based artist, uses a scalpel to create wonderful sculptures,  inverted reliefs of trees and the birds that once inhabited them.

The Taiwanese Long-Bin Chen is another artist creating a different style of artwork witth very different tools being the books and magazines first carved with a band or chain saw and then with a dental sander, for finer details.
