There must be something special in the Brennero highway from Mantova towards Modena. Everytime I travel on that route, I find myself with the camera on my hand – obviously, I am not the driver- taking pictures.
That stretch of land now do also bear a new meaning to many Italians. That it the area that was hit by the recent earthquake, that is the area where people are still fighting to create a new life, a life without cracks.
I know my editor and friend Ingrid is going to shake her head saying: “No good, these are blurred”.
But I loved the contrast between the flat still landscape and the stormy sky, the light that tries to pierce the darkness.
