“Photography is the art, science, and practice of creating pictures by recording radiation on a radiation-sensitive medium, such as a photographic film, or electronic image sensors” – Wikipedia.

I started experimenting with photography during summer 2010, after I received my first camera as a birthday gift. I had never before been fascinated by photography, because I thought it was not that creative of a process, just a very objective representation of reality.

But I was wrong.

Since then, I have practiced photography almost everyday, learning a little bit of the science related to it – also thanks to my teachers and friends at Fotografiaprofessionale – and testing my creativity and sensitivity to transform my pictures into something similar to art.

What I particularly like about photography is that it is capturing light and little drops of somebody’s else life. And what I have discovered is that I am unable to not superimpose  my mood onto my pictures.

My photographs therefore represent little drops of my life  too.
In this section I have started collecting some of my photographs into in-progress galleries –nature, portraits, still life and snapshots .

Other pictures are shown as featured image in each I>K section, in the I>K blog or available upon request.
