Browsing my Twitter timeline I have found this very interesting Brain Pickings blog post, referring to an incredible online exhibition of restored and colored negatives by by Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii , photographer to the Tsar. The exhibition is divided into four sections, each one showing little jewels of the early photography: Architecture – Ethnic Diversity – Transportation – People at Work
