I am actually working at a project for one of the biggest fashion archive in the world, therefore my attention is now focused on what the web has to offer in terms of sharing the past: history, costume, traditions etc.etc.
Among the many interesting websites, I have found this incredible collection of videos, British Pathé, which is like a time machine where you are the operator and can decide in which era to land.
There, you can really understand that today’s fashion is “nothing new”. In this hand-painted video, for instance, you will see that Todd’s famous soles were already “into production” in 1920s somewhere in Turkey. Amazing!
